Delete your account.

In the app.

1. Open the app and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll down to Account and tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm. Deletion starts straight away and cannot be undone.

By email.

No longer have the app? Email privacy@reechnetworks.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll email the address on your account to confirm before deleting, then delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted.

• Your profile: photos, bio, links, credentials and the documents behind them, and your criteria.
• Your connections, your reach requests and your copy of every conversation.
• Your verified name, date of birth and verification status.
• Your synced contact matches and any survey answers.
• Your user ID is never given to anyone else.

What is kept, and for how long.

• Messages you already sent stay with the people you sent them to. A conversation belongs to both people in it.
• Reports, by you or about you, and their evidence are kept as long as needed to detect repeat and coordinated abuse.
• Rejected credential submissions are kept as a record for the same reason. The record never holds the document, your name or your date of birth.
• If one of those records exists, a one-way hash of your verified name and date of birth is kept with it. Your name and date of birth themselves are always deleted. If you were banned, the hash also stays on a banned list.
• Hashed phone numbers from a contact sync, for people not on the app: up to 365 days from your last sync.
• Database backups: up to 7 days after deletion.
• Crash reports (90 days) and usage analytics (2 months) are not linked to your account, so deleting it does not reach them. They expire on their own.
• Your ID and face images were never held by us. Didit, our verification provider, deletes them 30 days after you verify.

Deleting some of your data, keeping your account.

Remove a credential in the app and its document is deleted with it. Photos, bio and links can be removed from your profile at any time. For anything else, including your survey answers, email privacy@reechnetworks.com and say what you want deleted.
